3. Brand History
Woodward, Inc., founded in 1870 and headquartered in Fort Collins, Colorado, USA, is a global leader in energy control systems. The company has a long history of innovation in turbine control, engine management,
and power generation systems.
Woodward products are widely recognized for their reliability and precision in demanding industrial and power generation applications.
4. Applications in Industrial Automation
The 5415-856 plays a critical role in industrial automation and power generation environments:
- Steam Turbine Control: Manages startup, speed regulation, and extraction/admission control of steam turbines.
- Power Generation Systems: Used in power plants to regulate turbine-driven generators for stable frequency and load management.
- Compressor and Pump Drive Control: Ensures precise speed control for turbine-driven compressors and pumps.
- Process Industry Applications: Applied in chemical plants, refineries, and other industries requiring precise turbine operation.
- Safety and Protection Functions: Includes overspeed protection, critical speed avoidance, actuator travel limits, and event logging for operational safety.

Dual mode electric vehicle controller
1. Hall adaptive with or without
Automatic switching between Hall drive and non Hall drive, with self-learning function, particularly suitable for the maintenance market. Whether using a
120 degree motor or a 60 degree motor, and regardless of how the Hall and phase wires are connected, as long as the functional wires
are correctly connected, the controller will automatically do everything for you.
2. Anti theft function
(1) If the non external anti-theft device closes the power lock, the system will automatically enter the anti-theft state. If the controller
detects that the motor is turning forward, it will apply force backward, and vice versa.
(2) After receiving a valid anti-theft signal, the external anti-theft controller enters the anti-theft state. When the controller detects that the
motor is rotating forward, it applies force backward, and vice versa.
3. Soft undervoltage and undervoltage protection function
When the battery voltage is insufficient and has not reached the undervoltage protection level, if high current output is continuously used,
the internal resistance and line resistance of the battery will generate a significant voltage drop, causing the controller to immediately implement undervoltage protection.
In response to this situation, our controller”s current limit value decreases as the battery voltage drops below a certain level. Therefore,
the controller can continue to operate in a low current form, effectively improving the driving range of the electric vehicle. When the battery
voltage falls below the undervoltage protection point, the output is turned off to protect the battery.
