3. Brand History
Woodward, Inc., founded in 1870 and headquartered in Fort Collins, Colorado, USA, is a global leader in energy control systems. The company has a long history of innovation in turbine control, engine management,
and power generation systems.
Woodward products are widely recognized for their reliability and precision in demanding industrial and power generation applications.
4. Applications in Industrial Automation
The 8234-346A plays a critical role in industrial automation and power generation environments:
- Steam Turbine Control: Manages startup, speed regulation, and extraction/admission control of steam turbines.
- Power Generation Systems: Used in power plants to regulate turbine-driven generators for stable frequency and load management.
- Compressor and Pump Drive Control: Ensures precise speed control for turbine-driven compressors and pumps.
- Process Industry Applications: Applied in chemical plants, refineries, and other industries requiring precise turbine operation.
- Safety and Protection Functions: Includes overspeed protection, critical speed avoidance, actuator travel limits, and event logging for operational safety.

What is residual pressure controller
The network-based residual pressure monitoring system consists of four parts, including residual pressure detector CS-Y03N (also known as residual
pressure sensor or differential pressure controller), residual pressure controller CS-Y04C, residual pressure monitor CS-Y04M, and pressure relief valve actuator.
The residual pressure controller can receive signals from the residual pressure detector and perform centralized processing to
control the electric actuator of the pressure relief valve, thereby controlling the opening and closing of the bypass pressure relief valve.
The residual pressure controller can provide centralized power supply to the residual pressure sensor CS-Y03N (residual pressure
detector) and the electric actuator (bypass relief valve control mechanism), and provide real-time feedback of on-site information to the residual pressure monitor CS-Y04M.
1、 Product features of residual pressure controller CS-Y04C
1. Monitor the status of the residual pressure detector and adjust the pressure relief valve in conjunction with the residual pressure detector;
2. Fire protection dual bus communication and power supply are used between the residual pressure detector, and only NHRVS-2 × 1.5 mm ² communication line is used;
3. The multifunctional button can query the total number, working status (running, alarm, fault), and pressure relief valve status of all residual pressure detectors in this circuit;
4. Chinese LCD display screen, compact product design, fully functional;
5. Each circuit can carry 256 residual voltage detectors.
