Convert monochrome TFT display to color

There are several factors to consider when converting a monochrome TFT display to color. Firstly, it requires an increase
in the amount of data required for display, as well as higher storage capacity and processing hardware performance. For example,
for a monochrome QVGA (320×240 pixels, 16 grayscale levels) panel, the data capacity of a single image is calculated as
follows: 320x240x4 bits=76800×4 bytes=38400 bytes. In contrast, a full-color QVGA panel (16 million colors, 8 bits per RGB
channel) requires 320x240x24 bits=76800×24 bits=230400 bytes,
which is six times more than monochrome. There are significant differences in the processing and memory requirements
for handling and transmitting image data between monochrome displays and color displays.

If the CPU lacks the necessary specifications, it may be necessary to replace the entire CPU, resulting in significant workload
and cost. However, introducing an Epson LCD controller can achieve colorization without the need to replace the CPU, effectively utilizing existing hardware.
